DogDays is Europe’s first print magazine for roller skating. What started in 2018 as a quarterly zine, evolved to an international, annual publication.

DogDays is a high-quality magazine printed by a local printing press in Germany. It comes with 100 pages filled with 100% roller skate content: photography from all around the world, timeless stories and interviews with personalities and creators that carry the positive vibes of this unique movement.

2024

Hello DogDays Yearbook 2024. Six years and nine publications later and we are still here. It’s been (almost) the same procedure as usual. As every year, we take you on a trip around the globe. We met skate crews from different continents (Berlin, New Jersey, Singapore, and Colombia), because crew love is true love. We chatted with veteran Simon Tiller on UK’s vert history and Slovenian’s finest Katja Djukič, who just made Team Riedell. Austin based skater Ashley Galvan talks on traveling the world and the benefits of morning routines and Nemo DeBevoise gives an insight into what it’s like to be part of Lazo. Including a poster of the freshly crowned Aussie/NZ MVP Keeks to hang above your bed!

2023

For our anniversary issue we asked you, skaters and photographers, worldwide to send in photos for a chance to be featured on our cover. Having the honor to pick an image out of more than 240 photos was a standout for us. We appreciate every one of you. Eventually, Emerald Kelly photographed by Mathias O’Neill on the roof of a shop in Australia made the cut. Inside we are featuring 12 additional amazing submissions from Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Santiago de Chile, Vancouver and many more. Each of them radiates a uniqueness.

2022

Déjà vu all over? Are we still in a pandemic? Life rolls on and so does the roller skate scene. But in which direction is it heading? In our new issue we tried to look at some of these questions.

We met Moxi creator Michelle Steilen in Barcelona to talk about the future of the company and how they plan to put it on financially solid ground. Katie Baird shows us her backyard which happens to be the largest open skatepark in the US. And Alyssa Brooks reflects on the trend for baranis, cartwheels and the greater question whether to flip or not to flip is the only sh*t to do in the skatepark?!

The DogDays Magazine year book 2022 is a high-quality print product, full magazine size, printed by a local printer here in Germany. All items of the collector’s edition are designed, handmade and/or handprinted by us and local roller skaters who we support. We hope you like to support this idea too.
